Overview
The study of classics is composed of a wide spectrum of literature, philosophy, linguistics, archaeology, and history of the Mediterranean. It is one of the most interdisciplinary courses of study at Santa Obscura. Discover the ins-and-outs of the lives of the Ancient Greeks, the language of the Roman Empire, and so much more. For further specialization, the Classical Studies department offers more degrees in Classical Languages, Latin, and Greek.

Faculty
Students enjoy personal interaction with faculty in all classical studies courses, especially the upper-division seminars and language classes. Our classical studies faculty are known for close mentorship, fostered through small class sizes, undergraduate research, and field trips.
